I truly believe that Kerry was placed up against his Skull & Bones frat brother with the clear intention of losing. It was his obligation to the brotherhood. The election was completely staged. And as the article above suggested, Kerry had nothing to lose, whatsoever... even knowning that he would not win. There is still a ton of benefits in it for Kerry. I have said that from the beginning. For one, he is likely to now be the top Democrat in the Senate for the next couple years, along with, of course, Queen Hillary. And he's already talking about running again in '08. Now that Kerry capitulated to Bush, people still fail to realize that Bush and Kerry are from the exact same web, and the whole thing was nothing more than a complete sham. People bought it.
You paranoid conspiracy theorist's are funny. You think that the whole thing was completely staged? Hahahahahaa!!!!!! I am an extremely liberal Democrat and even I have to laugh at that conspiracy scenario.
Many democrats are beginning to believe this... My question, how did Kerry win the primaries? I didn't vote for him. Dean had the momentum and support...what happened? I believe those elections were rigged as well. I say we start a new party. Democrats hate the DNC right now. Some of us were hopeful that Kerry's people were working behind the scenes, and he was waiting for solid evidence of voter fraud to surface. The concession is not legally binding and the votes aren't cast until Dec. 12th I believe. If things go as they are..I will officially hate Kerry. I will consider him a party to the crimes of the Bush administration. This all could be very good for 3rd parties in the future, that is if we get the elections to be fair. Who will support the Democrats, most them are sickened by this.
That's the problem though, with the electronic voting machines I doubt we will ever have a fair election, yet no way to prove it was anything else...
I agree with pressed rat...i totally think the election was set up between Bush and some democrat who would just be set up to fail...they had a good man in Kerry... Peace and Love, Dan
I demand a recount, I demand my innocense be brought back..i demand this to actually be fair, something hasta be done.
His conceding shows that he is a class act, or he realizes that he still is a millionaire even though he lost. If he's not complaining that he lost why is everyone still complaining who voted for him?
I just think its bullshit that all the votes were not counted. I really don't care for either one of them, but if every vote had been counted (or any vote for that matter, I think the voting was rigged), Bush would've been blown away.
Sorry, I didn't mean you. I just meant most of the people who voted for Kerry in general. It's almost two weeks later and everyone is still losing their minds over it. I think everything in the world is fixed...all sports, voting...as long as greedy people have their little grubby hands in everything the world will never be fair.
First, way to show how the Rethuglicans' plan to bring the country together--you must be part of the Bush team. WE? How dare you claim this country for "you" as if Republicans now own this country. Oh wait, given administration policies, guys like Ken Lay and Dick Cheney might very well end up owning most of it (including your sorry ass whether you realize it or not). In addition, what this administration (at least those who are not jumping ship) does own are the results of its own policies. Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. Second, although what conspiracy theorists suggest is possible, it just doesn't seem plausible. The idea that the outcome was a foregone conclusion just doesn' hold merit. Grassroots politics (it has been said that all politics are local), are simply to varied and vast to be part of a broad conspiracy. Kerry conceded because it was the right thing to do for the country. In Ohio, there are teams of lawyers looking into irregularities and insuring that votes are counted, Kerry just didn't want to hold the country in limbo for two weeks when a win was not likely. If the votes end up showing otherwise (as in all 140,000 provisional ballots go to Kerry), Kerry's concession means nothing. What is interesting to consider is what might happen if fraud is proven after Bush is inaugurated. Once he has taken the oath, impeachment is the only route to take--a tall order when there will be no connecting the dots from fraud directly to Bush.
"We won. You lost. Shut up, follow or get out of the way." That sounds like a typical attitude of somebody living under the nazi regime before they turned the country into a police state. Peace and Love, Dan
