Do you have a wardrobe full of everything, so you never run out of things to wear at the end of the week on wash day, oorr do you have a few of each and just wear them a few times in the week?
I have a bunch of pieces, but I usually wear the same few things every week, so I do laundry quite often.
i have way too many articles of clothing, some i dont wear but cant bear to part with, some dont fit me so "i can alter these" or "i can lose those inches" and neither ever gets done. i wear the same stuff over and over.
Haha that exactl what I think!! I have a pile of clothes I need to cut up and stick on other tops, and a pile I need to alter and a pile I need to sort out cus I cut them wrong etc... Gah might as well give up lol
we are attempting to cull through our clothing. you have to be ruthless. and if you have intentions for some things then tackle one pile at a time. if its a vague "i might need this" then let it go. i made something for my mom, and found it in a thrift store! go figure! sometimes you just have to let go of things you dont need or want anymore. and yes, i know it was the one i made because i designed it so that she could get her injured arm into it more easily. we had a good laugh over it actually i love my mom
I do have a lot of clothes, but some I haven't worn in a year or so. I might donate them later this summer. I need to get more jeans, that's for sure (I only have 3). I'm picky when it comes to jeans. They can't be too tight, too baggy or loose, and look very clean. So, I need more. I also need some more long, hippy style skirts. I love them very much. I have only 4 of them now. And I need more jogging shorts, that's for sure. I like them better than denim shorts (they are more comfortable).
I do have a lot of clothing, but I wear most of it. I like fashion...and I would love to design some of my own pieces, if I knew how to use a sewing machine I probably would have done it already. Clothing is fun, especially old clothing, used clothing definitely has that extra something (and I don't mean scumminess lol).
I have a good amount of clothing, though I try to purge regularly. I will keep designer pieces even if they go out of style and take better care of them hoping that one day they'll come back in style For me though it is definitely quality over quantity.
I have quite a few pieces of clothing. I have a few essentials (jeans, brown velvet vest, 2 short straight skirts, black and jeans, black short dress, leggings, black straight pants) that I don't mind to spend a lot on in order to get quality items I'll keep for a long time, because I wear them pretty much every day. I mix them with cheaper trendy items (shirts, jewelry, scarves, shoes, etc), but even then I tend to go for quality and something I'll feel like wearing for a long period of time. I have to make a purge once a year, because I don't want to accumulate too much stuff.
i have piles and piles and piles of clothes. i used to have trouble with compulsive shopping. i wear most of them though, and i almost never have to do laundry, so it kinda works out i guess...
I have a lot. My dresser, closet, and huge set of shelves are full of clothes, plus an arm chair with and enormous pile of clothes on it, and tons all over the floor. I really, really like buying clothes, mostly from thrift shops.
I used to be like that. I quickly realized though that keeping a lot of stuff when you're a nomad is not useful! I have a lot of clothes according to my standarts, but still, I used to have at least 10 times more things before. I prefer to possess less honestly, I still feel like I have all the clothes I need but I don't accumulate things I don't wear anymore.
I probably have four or five pairs of jeans I wear every week. Lots and lots of shirts...I guess I wear the same ten or twenty short sleeve shirts per month. I have a few pairs of shoes but most don't fit correctly so I usually just wear my one pair of sneakers every single day. I used to have a bunch of jeans but since I outgrew them, I gave probably six to eight pairs away.
I got maybe 7 shirts, 2 pairs of jeans, and a bunch of cutoff pajama pants. 1 pair of flip flops I made, they're getting worn out, I need to make some more soon!
I have about 5 pairs of jeans, tons of shirts, a few sweaters , and a only-get-worn-4-months-a-year-summer-wardrobe, cause i sadly live in Minnesota.
