    I need to try it before burning man, among other things, just need a more predictable sleep schedule.

    I've heard that if you take melatonin supplements regularly your body will stop producing natural melatonin altogether. Dunno if thats permanent or if it goes away when you stop taking it.

    Yeah, but there is no real evidence to support that. However, if a person does take it regularly, then suddenly stops taking it, there can be an adjustment period where they have difficulty falling asleep, but it's only temporary.

    I can't sleep without the aid of some kind of substance anyway, I don't see why Melatonin would make it any worse than it already is.

    Melatonin can cause depression if taken regularly.

    But it does not cause long term damage for your brain to create melatonin. Pinel synthesis from trptophan is dependant mainly on light.

    It's by far the smoothest sleep buzz.

    Did he pass out and not log out or did he not pass out and is just lurking or did he pass out after logging out and is HF just being slow again... :confused:
