R.I.P Elvis Aaron Presley

elvis died today in 1977 at 3.30pm (Memphis time).

i remember when i was a little boy, if i was upset, my mum used to crawl into my little single bed with me and play old Elvis cassettes and sing to me to cheer me up.

those were the days when my mother still spoke to me like a human being.

ah.... memories.

I was with a friend and his family, only 7yrs old and I remember hearing the news..
This is a weird memory for a child, we were on the road with his parents when it came over the radio..
This freind though, grew up dating black girls and pretending he was micole jaxsum during high school, I remember the time he got beat up while wearing that red zipper jacket...

at 7:30pm his mom would listen to the rosary on the radio, everyday. I dont think it helped.
