Airport Terminal

If you were stuck in an Airport Terminal for twenty hours... what would you do? I can't enter the country without a visa... Any ideas?

 

I can suggest sleep for a few hours, but 20 hours?, nope, no ideas, sorry.

 

Go buy yourself a book or a bunch of magazines, find a cafe or a restaurant, order something and read away. I've spent so many hours on airports doing just that.

What airport are you at?

 

I'm at a cafe now and I have plenty of material to read. I've currently taken on re-reading all seven books from the Chronicles of Narnia for kicks. I'm in Doha, Qatar. Its not a bad airport its just 20 hours in any confined space can be daunting. But thanks! :cheers2:

 

Do they have a bar in the international terminal?

 

I would definitely set myself the goal of reading Chekhov's complete ouvre. How is it turning out? God, I hate airports.

I would take breaks with posture exercises and deep breathing; possibly a nap.

why do you have to wait so long??

 

i always start drinking when i have at least an hour before boarding my next flight

usually get at least 4-5 drinks in by that time

20 hours, i'd be lucky i could walk and lucky to still have teh monies in mah bank account

 

gay sex in the bathroom always passes the time..

 

I think he got nabbed by immigration officers.

Haha..Maybe they have a senator in the bathroom willing to help with that.

 

I've just made it 10 of the twenty hours. I've read two books and slept non!! I think insomnia is kicking in though. I have followed the advise of having some beers as well as finding a senator in the bathroom. Both have worked tremendously thank you!

 

I bought a round trip ticket a while back and didn't care to notice the return trip had a twenty hour lay-over. Stupid really on my part but really it was the getting there I cared about rather than the getting back. Oh well lesson learned I suppose.

 

Straight sex with a flight attendant in a different bathroom, or in an employees only part of the airport.

I'd walk around and watch planes. If I was old enough I'd hit the bar.

Write postcards to all the people back home that you neglected while you were actually enjoying your holiday.

 

About 14 hours is the longest I've been stuck in an airport.
