Dreaded my hair again

I had dreads four years ago, they were moss green and looked like moss growing out of my scalp, and they were awesome.


I unfortunately took them out for no good reason, and ever since I've constantly talked about how I miss my dreads, how I want to put them back in, etc.

I finally did, and I coudln't be happier. I fucking love my dreads. I just finished them tonight, I started yesterday and would've finished but I'm lazy as fuck and kept taking hour(s) long breaks.



I'm getting some Knotty Boy friday, I used it last time I had dreads and loved it, if you have dreads you should try it.

 

yeah i miss having my dreads too. someday i'll get tired of looking "normal" and will get them done again.

 

i have my dreds back! just having a hard time maintaining but i have got plenty of time! welcome the dreds back brother! peace!

 

Awww, awesome.. Yeah, I think if I were to cut mine off, I'd miss 'em so much, I'd end up making them again...haha.

thats cool, my friend in school always grows his hair medium length and puts dreds in and then cuts the tips off so they look hollow inside, its pretty cool

 

rock they really suit you man yours are so much neater than mine though, especially when i first did them

 

ive been considering doing dreads for about a year now... im too wimpy though lol

 

lol thanks, I've been doing them on myself and for other people ever since I first did them on myself, I've dreaded so much it's like ingrained into my soul

 

don't be wimpy...its cool...i was nervous at first but ya know this is the 3rd time i have tried it because i was nervous the other times and now i feel comfortable and would feel weird if i went back.

 

Yeah, I always felt like I wasn't quite myself without my dreads.

 

i am happier now. hubby has locked some of my hair with his hair and i the same with him.

 

how does that work?

 

cuts off some of his hair and when we back comb we back comb his hair in my hair.

 

Did you do them all by yourself, like at the back and shit,
cos ive made up my mind to dread my hair sometime during the next month, tho all my good friends are total potheads, not thats its a bad thing but i dont really trust them to do it right as they'd probably just try and give me an afro.

Yes'm. I did my dreads myself about 2 days ago. It took me a long 9 hours, and now they are looking pretty shitty. They wont stay tight

 

dont worry they will tighten up!!!! let them mature.....

good things take time..

 

i want dreads... but my mom sucks.
