    @Pressed_Rat

About what percentage would you say your predictions are correct?

If you are above 70-80%, help me out with a few stock picks.
If far lower, I will just stick with this inee-meenee-minee-moe.

These idiots don't know the difference. I heard one brainless moron refer to Pres. Obama as a "Liberal Facist".

Glen Beck said that The US had purchased Alaska from the Russians back in 1950 so we could get the oil. What an idiot. The US purchased Alaska from Russia in 1867.

I'm no economist and won't pretend to be. It's not like they know anything anyway.

    Blahblahblahblah......

Of course Obama-wan-kenobe is gonna get a lot of death threats. The expectations were way to high to begin with and now folks are "dissappointed", but he ain't white, so racism has gone thru the roof. Now all those "I told ya so" folks are feeling mighty RIGHT. And the racists too. And the oh-so-liberal use of labels that most people don't actually GET or even agree on keeps everything nice and confusing.

I refuse to look at this with all that clutter in the way. and so, what I'm seeing is someone who actually meant well who is starting to feel mighty helpless now that his presidency is well under way. I see this helplessness just about every time I watch him speak, and ESPECIALLY when his teleprompter is not available.

He's turned into the worlds best scape goat. And he knows it.

Damn, ya can call him all the fancy sounding words ya want, and jump around mad as if ya actually thought he somehow could fix all the ills of society at some point, but really, that's just a cop-out, because anyone with a brain would know that one dark skinned guy can not fix everything. And nobody, no matter what color or sex or age is gonna make everyone happy.
So, WTF? Because he is dark and young he is expected to make everything hunky-dory? We've been trying for many years to elect someone who can fix things the way "we" want 'em, and it didn't work yet. So why such high expectations now? Ya think we are all gonna agree with what needs fixed or how to do it? Hey, maybe the reason he got elected is because he can be seen as EXPENDABLE if it don't work out. He screws up too much, it will be eons before another dark guy gets elected to high office. Handy for the racists among us.

So, my prediction? Somewhere into the presidency he's gonna realize he's screwed no matter what he does. Maybe already happening. And MAYBE he will even resign... He really does have that "bit off way more than I can chew" look lately, like he could toss his hands in the air at any minute and run.... I think this is more likely than him allowing himself to be murdered or driven into a mental hospital.

You base your life preceptions on Terminator movies you must have voted for Arnold. You must be disappointed in his governorship. Not sure how many morphing meanies he's got rid of during his term, but he's certainly bankrupted California.

He certainly didn't fight to close the Enron loophole or protect our environment.

Six months into a four year term. Health Care reform is something he probably shouldn't have brought up the first year. I would rather he'd jumped on Wall St. and financial reform first. Make some real reform and oversight there first then tackle Health Insurance. But then I am just an average citizen.

He still has three and 1/2 years to go. I still have hope, More than I ever had with GW and Cheney.

You think they'll move your town hall protests off site to free speach zones miles away from the events like Bush/Cheney moved their detractors to?

No, they'll just not let people with dissenting views and opinions speak. Or they'll not even let people into these "public" events, kind of like they're doing right now.

If they are not being heard why are they all over the news? Seems a bit of a contradiction.

Whereas under Bush before the war in Iraq there was a huge rally in Washington, how many news stations covered it? I can only think of one C-span. The speakers there brought up all the issues that came to be proven true. But before the war and even two years after the telly tubby incident who even heard them? No one watched because mainstream media didn't talk about it. The Sunday politic shows they only ask the easy questions for four years. They weren't killing granny or fetuses, they were sacrificing your young people and killing innocent Iraqi civilians, wasn't news worthy was it?

Dude you do watch TV don't you ? Its been all over the news, Obama's political opponents are getting plenty air time and are being given access to these town hall meetings. This is very different than the Bush years, where you would not be allowed into a town hall meeting with Bush if you so much as had a contrary T-Shirt on or you had "Vote Kerry" bumper sticker on your car. People carrying signs were not allowed within 2 miles of Bush, now you see them right outside the building. In fact there was a guy carrying a loaded gun and protest sign outside an Obama appearance last week.

So what if he was carrying a loaded gun? It was in New Hampshire where there are open carry laws. The guy was merely exercising his 2nd Amendment rights. It's the media that made it into something it wasn't.

FYI, I don't watch TV. I watch YouTube and LiveLeak videos, some being news clips.

Sure it went on during the Bush years, but do you see me defending Bush? No. Bush was a criminal, too. Why does something that Bush did make it right for Obama, whose campaign was based on change? Instead it's just more of the same.

I just love it how the Obama worshipers can only revert back to Bush any time their Messiah is being called into question.
