Woodstock 40th anniversary sold out!

The Woodstock concert at Bethel, NY with Jefferson Airplane and Mountain and Canned heat is sold out, anyone know a back way in? I looked at the aerial and approaching from the south east quadrant appears to be the best plan. Does anyone know a better way? I MUST see that show!

 

have an accomplice with some kind of incendiary device to distract the guards somewhere else who doesn't give a fuck about seeing the show, just loves mayhem.

 

I saw Canned heat back in 1975 with Quicksilver Messenger Service and Ike & Tina Turner.

 

I know a guy like that, but that might be a little to extreme, I was kinda hoping that with a capacity crowd all the security people would be too busy to notice be slipping in.

It's kind of lame, IMO. These guys are so old now. They can't be nearly as good as they once were. I like Jefferson Airplane and Canned Heat, I just have no desire to see them in their 60s. But that's just me.

2. look like you know what you are doing
3. DO NOT look like you are sneaking around.
4. You are probably wrong about security, more crowd, means more money, for more security. and real LEO's will be involved too
5. they will probably be using IR (night vision, starlight scopes) to see places where you think they can't, watch out for that

Holly shit! Night vision for a concert in upstate NY! Once I bought a ticket for a sold out concert there 3 years ago and they didn't even take the ticket they just let everyone in! but that was 3 years ago.

 

How much do the tickets cost?
How much does it matter to them that only ticketed people get in?

I know that at burning man (closest metaphor I have to what you're doing) they use night vision to catch people doing stuff they should not do on playa

I think they scan a bar code on the ticket. But I was thinking that I could probably walk around back through a few fields north of 17b.

That's a wicked idea, dress as security and just stroll in. If anyone stops you, just say you are new and you we're sent to look for JJ.

I'm going to try that one day. Turn up with a black t-shirt, some white spray paint, cardboard, scissors and a selection of coloured wrist bands.
