I want to learn about a lot of other cultures. Since you are a bird, you can come sweep me away to a far off land. Preferably not China, I don't think I'd like it much.

China is okay, but climb on my back and I'll fly you to some cultural places.

Bird what is it like to go to another country? I want so badly, but I'm so afraid! I mean, I hear people will ask me for money and try to sell sex to me? I only stay in one town because I also hear that people will eat you if you disrespect them in certain places. I'm also worried that if I travel to far I will fall off the edge of the world....What's it like going to other places Bird...I have no experience other than walking down the block once or twice in my life. Is it scary?

Also I fear that I may see those people I hear about with the nappy hair, you know and it's all like stuck together.....my momma told me they are savages that descend from ancient demonic bloodlines and will devour you first chance they get.....

Has anyone ever been to Argentina? I've always wanted to go to Rio Grande and the bottom of South America. I'd love to watch the penguins swim up from Antarctica

Well I've been to two of those countries and I was the one asking for money...so perhaps I contribute to that statement?

I love traveling. I've only been to Canada, Mexico, UK, Greece, and Austria though. I really want to save up for a trip to Tibet after college.

The more I travel and the older I get, the less I'm interested in "culture." I've concluded human beings have the same basic needs wherever you go, and "culture" is just a vapid veneer and an excuse for divisions within the capitalist mode of production.

Culture is to me a commodity, like a pack of cigarettes. I'd rather a Mustang.

Yep, the first time I went to Victoria and last time I went to Vancouver. I love BC. Both cities were gorgeous. I even considered applying to UBC when I was a senior in high school.

Better stay at home and do some Googling. It is safer, easier and moderner.

Check. I haven't been to the far south though, just the northern and middle part of Argentina. No pinguins there.

Yeah, sometimes I get on my swim trunks and pretend I'm at a beautiful beach of the coast of Chile but that's about as close as I get. Hmmm, maybe If I lived vicariously through myself I'd know what it's like to travel huh? Because I've had some conversations with this guy that claims to be me and apparently he's been on some pretty interesting adventures in other countries....

Only travel if you feel like escaping from something. It's not worth the bother.

Seriously? Hmmm...so is it wrong for me to have traveled for the want to experience different cultures, beliefs, ideals, geographies etc...etc..?
