Yes, the health insurance industry is CONTROLLED by the elite, just like the same government that wants to take the private HMOs over. It is nothing more than a power grab, yet the same people are in charge behind the scenes. I can guarantee you the heads of these HMOs are not going to lose any money from this. If anything they're going to receive a massive payoff. Most of them are quite low level anyway, compared to some of the shareholders that own them and many of the world's other biggest corporations.

Yes, there is also rationing under the current private HMOs (which I never said to be a fan of), but at least Medicare/Medicaid, which Obama wants to eliminate, would cover those not taken care of by their own HMO. You don't see the elderly and the terminally ill being denied treatment. You will if Obama's health care "reform" goes through.

Who's trying to stop it? 70 year old grandfathers who don't want their care taken over by the state and rationed?

See, you're just mindlessly repeating the bullshit you hear on TV. You don't have a freaking clue! The phamaceutical companies and HMOs are not "astroturfing" the opposition. That's simply more media bullshit you've decided to swallow without question. The pharamceutical companies ESPECIALLY have put BILLIONS of dollars into this push for state health care, because they will benefit from it IMMENSELY. Again, you failed to address why Obama and members of his cabinet, like Hillary Clinton, have received so much money from the pharamaceutical companies over the years.

No, not everyone serving the elite agenda are necessarily elite themselves. Many of them are just dupes and useful idiots. People like Olbermann and Maddow work for the corporate media, so therefore they can only say what they're allowed to. Mostly all they do is push the divide and conquer agenda the elite want. So whether they are knowingly working for the agenda or not, they are certainly serving that agenda well by not giving people the BIG PICTURE.

Healthier? America is more unhealthy than ever, and it's only going to get worse as more people become dependent on toxic pharamaceuticals, which don't cure but only treat. Health doesn't come from corporate health care, but prevention through eating healthy and taking supplements to ensure the proper amount of nutrients are being consumed. That's probably why there is an effort being made to promote only GMO foods, while eliminating or greatly restricting people's access to supplements. Who do you think will benefit from that?

She shows her work, and you can go to these web sites where the astroturfers SAY THEMSELVES who they work for, and you can Google those organizations and confirm what Rachel is saying is true. You can say she's partisan, and she is, but she shows her work.

Look, I know from my personal life, not from the media, that I see people rolling over to authority and corporate interests because they are afraid of losing their health care. They would stand up to the man, but they might lose their job, and then they'd lose their health care and so they can't do it. If the little guy didn't have to worry about losing his health care, there'd be more disobedience against "them". People could afford to fight.

 

I can't wait for PR's healthcare to get rationed, just for the lulz on RT!

Please don't say this:
I've heard someone say he is a socialist because he is in favour of "redistributing wealth" to third word countries. Otherwise none as aid.
That'll pretty much make every world leader a "socialist".

 

Basically they are. The entire globalist system is based on wealth redistribution from the developed nations to the third world, and confiscating the people's wealth to set up domestic police states. It can just as easily be called fascism. It's just that it uses monopoly capitalism (aka socialism) to achieve its goals via this economic warfare that's being waged on the people.

 

If the Obama administration (and those controlling it) wants to discredit the opposition to his fascist health care reform, it makes sense that they're going to send crazies to these events to discredit and marginalize anyone that is critical of his plans by posing as the opposition. There is such a thing as controlled opposition, but that does not mean that the majority of people in opposition to BHO's agenda are part of some organized effort. 90% of them are simply pissed off, and they should be.
