The best I can. I work a 3 day week, 12 hour day and every other Sunday. I change from days to nights every 6 weeks. I'm getting too old for this shit.

Go to sleep whenever you can, wake up early... do a whole lot of physical work or exercise or just be really active the next day and you'll fall asleep at anytime.

    Drugs also help.

I don't really have a pattern. All I know is I'm afraid to dream, if I don't move around alot in my sleep then something is seriously wrong and bugging me and if I wake up on my back I had a good dream, if I wake up on my tummy I had a bad dream.

I don't have a pattern, but I tend to fall asleep pretty early and wake up early. On the rare occasion that I go out, I usually end up falling asleep on a couch by like, 11.

if i need to start getting up earlier, i just set my alarm for when i need to get up and still go to bed at the normal time. thus, the first day i'm tired as hell, but it allows me to fall asleep at an earlier time that night, and it's easy from there.

if i need to start staying up later for some reason, i just force myself to stay awake. this is harder to do intentionally but easier to do accidentally.

    I don't. I just sleep when/if I can.

Last week I had about 20 hours of sleep for the whole 7 days. Sometimes I can sleep all day, sometimes I sleep about and hour and that's all I get. My kid isn't even to blame!

Employment is the only thing that can straighten me out, period. Otherwise it's all random and I'm the king of oversleeping.

PR, is Melatonin really good? If it is, I may invest in it. I'm sick of having to resort to pot or sleeping pills to get a full night's sleep.

Alcohol helps... I've been rotating between first and third shift the past couple weeks, and the rotation is by the day, not the week. This week it is 2 3rds, and 2 firsts.

Been pulling lots of 24-36 hour days to make sure I sleep when I need to... This morning was an epic fail. Was suppsed to be up til noon to sleep til 7 or 8. Fell asleep at 6am instead

I'll be off at 7 in the mizzy and up til 9 or 10pm to be ready for days on Thursday and Friday... Then I'll pull an all nighter Saturday to sleep Sunday day to be ready for 3rds again on Sunday...

It works for me. Plus I always wake up feeling rested after I take it.

And it's safer than diphenhydramine, right?

Oh yeah, it's completely safe, even in relatively high doses. You really only need about 3 mg., though (6 mg. if that doesn't work).

lol, Sorry I keep asking so many questions, but any time I find some safer form of insomnia relief, I get all excited. How much do you usually pay for Melatonin?
