Mmm yeah i really didnt understand that either xD

I think whut people mean by " hydroponic mushrooms " is where their grown on a rice cake and the spores are injected into them or something? (Idk, this is how my friend explained to me when i was freaking out about if they came from cow shit or not lol) But other than that, can't say that I really know, Havent grown them or anything,.

ive seen mushrooms growing out of swamped paddies in the field but indoors usually they are not underwater. hydroponic is a misnomer when referring to shrooms. what they meant to say is "these shrooms were grown indoors, but im calling them hydroponic because im ignorant." rice flour cakes, grains, coco fiber, and straw/poop are a few of the mediums people grow shrooms on indoors.

indoor mushrooms are essentially the exact same as outdoors, only the enviroment (soil, cow patties, logs0 is reproduced with similar materials (Brown Rice Flour, manure, Wild Bird Seed, etc) in a contained area.

mushrooms thrive off humidity. indoor mushrooms require frequent mistings to maintain a humid terrarium. This may lead to the horribly misconstrued use of "hydroponic"
