The comments I have been getting from people who say anything is that it is "Different" and that they like my new hair color. Mind you, I havent dyed it from the same faded black I have had for YEARS. So... I dont get it.

Old black guys who whisper stuff creep me out.
I was in a Subway sub shop once with my family at like 3 am, (We were fishing) and there was this looney big fat black man, (who I'm assuming is homeless, because I had seen him out and about before, and he carried lots of bags of things) So he was being all sick in the subway, he came up to me and whispered 'Hey, got me for a birthday hug?'

My moms boyfriend is over 6'5" and tough looking...I'd be scared if I didn't know him! So I stood next to him and my older brother until the police came. Creepy guy... The man was obviously drunk and wandering about the place talking to people and stuff, and touching people. (Not in a sexual way, but still.) It was the most delicious sandwich ever, though!

    Ok, story time is over.....

Twice now, in a grocery store, older Italian ladies pulling and tugging my hair asking me "are those real"?

No bitch, I put this wig on every day to look like a clown so I can amuse you, wtf do you think.
You're lucky you probably make some fucking good risotto, otherwise I'd be very belligerent.

lol, they ARE Italian though. NEVER lose your cool with an old Italian lady, you never know when they might invite you over to their house for some awesome polenta or a game of lawn bowling with their significant other. hhaha :cheers2:

These black people stories remind of of one day when I was at the store and these two women from Africa (they had heavy accents) gave me a weird look when I passed them, when I looked back, they both had dreads.

    Now that's creepy.

It still boggles me that strangers just up and say shit like this. Which has me chuckling 'cause I was just reading a thread of people whinging that strangers never talk to each other.

I was listening to a new Gentleman album I bought at a flea market, looking on these forums and my mom's like "So how long you been listening to that music? A week?".... I've been listening to it for about 7 or 8 months. Haha.

A friend of mine is a teacher with gorgeous locks. She was doing a parent-teacher conference with the parents of one of her students who wasnt doing to well in her class. The parents were hispanic and didnt know that my friend is bilingual. My friend had to deliver some not so good information about the boys progress or lack thereof and the dad turned to the mom and said in spanish...."What does she know about kids, she cant even brush her hair!" LMAO! My friend was like....."Uh...Ive dedicated my life around kids...I know what Im talking about....and yes I dont brush my hair." lol

    Not uptight maaaaaaaaaaan. hahah.

No really, "weirdest comment you have gotten ON (meaning about) YOUR dreads" ...

Not... "weirdest comment you have gotten DURING THE CREATION of your dreads" ..

Not that I really care, I was just dissecting English. Anything I can do to help people better understand this glorious language.

    Your Welcome. <3

Haha, well yeah I know, but a little common sense has to come into play here. In the 'Weiredest comment you've gotten on your dreads' thread, a post should be made regarding your dreads (In any form), so I wouldn't see why a comment about music, REGARDING, my dreads, in the 'Weiredest comment you've gotten on your dreads' thread would be such a problem.

    Kinda goofy.

Edit: So I'll contribute to the thread :p
I have a guy named Pat, he's from Jamaica and cool as hell to talk to, he buys blunts, black & milds, Tampa Sweets, etc from me all the time, and I've been wearin' my tam hat for a while, and this is the 1st time he's seen my locs, so he's like "You dreadin' up?" I'm like "Yeah".... he told me "That ain't gonna dread up, you gonna have to put mayonnaise and wax all in it"... I'm like "Uhh... yeah, heh."

I wanted to laugh, but I'm kinda afraid of him, haha. Fucking Mayonnaise, eww. Just the thought of that being in my hair and not on my sandwich makes me gag
