so my sister likes this show and is always talking about it. i decided to watch it with her tonight.

fuck.. its annoying, i dont get why there is such a hype around it. i was really annoyed by the main girls especially and the story line was boring. they were just over exaggerating these pety problems.

I actually liked it a lot. It was over the top and silly, but that is why it was entertaining. It was totally ridiculous. I don't watch it anymore though because I only get FOX with cable and my free cable was shut off. And there is no way in hell I'd ever pay for cable.

Yes...I hate that show too (as well as every other dramatic series on tv). I feel kind of left out when ppl. start talking about super-lame tv shows that I don't even watch. But I'd rather feel left out rather than watch a crappy show.

Lol. As someone who lives in the OC, I've never met any1 like them, but, then again, I don't live in Newport Beach, or go there very often. I have family that lives in Costa Mesa though which is pretty close.

can't say as i've ever heard of it.

the only "oc" i'm familiar with is the ooc abreviation for
out of charicter used in roll playing games when you want
to say something mundane and make it clear it's you and
not your player charicter that is saying it.

but then my television is this dust covered object that sets in the corner for my sterio to sit on top of.

actualy it's my wife's. and that's a hand me down from her
    now deceased parents.

i admit i'm into it. It's not like I think it's a great show or anything, but a whole bunch of people in my building used to watch it, and so I caught a few episodes... you just kinda get attached to the characters. that, and it's fun to watch something so over-the-top every so often.

if i had cable i'd probably watch the weather chanel more often then anything from the major broadcast networks.

fox lost my interest when they layed off their animators and any sense of reputability when the started beating the drums for the iraqi war.

mind extension university (if it's still on and hasn't been compromised)
    the sciffy channel
    nikalodian and the cartoon network
    discouvery
some of the perv networks if there are any good ones maybe if they didn't get too boring and repititious

not that much really that i can see as being worth getting cable for

maybe c-span one and two if that's still on and i didn't get too depressed by it

and of course the local pbs outlets, but i can get that without cable and even that seems to have been compromised by 2/3'ds right wing propiganda.

that's about the extent of what i'd likely watch on there and even then that would take too much time away from the far more rewarding things i'd rather be doing.

even this silly place is less depressing then most of the crap that is on the tube these days

(is there an anime network? i'd probably watch that if there was)
