hell yeah, licorice is great. so is anise. i don't understand why so many people don't like them. some folks say they "taste like medicine" and i can't think of anything except...yeah....they flavor the medicine like that so it doesn't taste as bad as it otherwise would, because licorice and anise good flavors
I love all the licorice-y spices... caraway, fennel "a compound called anethole ("trans"-1-methoxy-4-(prop-1-enyl)benzene)"
I HATE black licorice. It makes me want to gag just thinking about it. The only licorice that's SOMEWHAT tolerable are strawberry Twizzlers.
oh yeah, fennel is great i love the candied fennel seeds you get when you leave indian restaurants i dont think caraway is very similar, though.
OOOOOO, wikipedia disagrees with your opinion  dill is also loosely affiliated which I can see
If it has cheese on it, then yeah. I still eat steamed broccoli because it's healthy, but I can't say I care much for the taste.
Hailing from Blighty (and damned proud of it), it is my duty to refer you to the epitomised awesomeness that is liquorice allsorts. It is also my duty to spell it liQUorice, because every time you spell it the American way, you make the Queen cry.
