I smoke, heavy. As of recent, witin the past year, I've been experiencing some hairloss. My thyroid gland and all else seem to be fine and I'm wondering if it's genetics, since my father his all his hair at the age of 39.
My mom and others tell me it's all the pot I smoke. I asked a doctor once and he said no way.

tl;dr Can marijuana use cause side effects of sudden hairloss?

No man. Grass is actually good for your hair. I know tons of potheads who still have full heads of hair, when it seems as though they are of the age where they would be balding.

I've never heard of hair loss as a side effect from pot. I would say that there are many other things that could contribute to it, especially genetics.

    Thanks for the commentary fellas.

Every organism and human being is different though and some bodies may react to certain exposures in different ways. Is it foolish to not completely rule it out? I'm only 19.
