I smoke, heavy. As of recent, witin the past year, I've been experiencing some hairloss. My thyroid gland and all else seem to be fine and I'm wondering if it's genetics, since my father his all his hair at the age of 39. My mom and others tell me it's all the pot I smoke. I asked a doctor once and he said no way. tl;dr Can marijuana use cause side effects of sudden hairloss?
dont think so...i think cigarette smoke has more to do with hair loss check this - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alopecia_areata who knows, but it is pretty common
No man. Grass is actually good for your hair. I know tons of potheads who still have full heads of hair, when it seems as though they are of the age where they would be balding.
Dont think it has anything to do with that.. I have very thin hair on top.. My dad does not, he had chemotherapy and his hair came back.. My grandfather on my moms side had the phil collins as I call it.. like me..
I've never heard of hair loss as a side effect from pot. I would say that there are many other things that could contribute to it, especially genetics.
Thanks for the commentary fellas. Every organism and human being is different though and some bodies may react to certain exposures in different ways. Is it foolish to not completely rule it out? I'm only 19.
look up alopecia for real, my mom had it my cousin had it when he was real young it is pretty rare to start balding in the teens
