Fido fucking sucks so bad. The only reason I got 3 phones (daughter me and husband) with them since November last year was because the line was the shortest in the mall. I'm such a person of convenience that the short line ended up fucking me over in every aspect of convenience that there could possibly be. Like my bill is always wrong I have to read every line dot by - fucking - dot Or I'll miss the ringtone which I was charged and had not downloaded possibly I'd miss the US text messages when every single person I know (just about) I know is in the same quadrant of the city in canada One day I can finally get a rep who doesnt accidentally get disconnected from me after circling the queue a few times while entering my postal code and my date of birth until the buttons actually wear out on my phone from me over using them calling customer service I fucking hate them and am stuck in this contract for at least one year
if its fido or rogers you can buy a better phone that is unlocked from ebay and just put your sim in and presto....upgraded
stay away from tracfone, they robbed the fuck out of my mom with their alleged "pay as you go" scam. rogers is probably ok though, since they're just trying to escape their crappy cigarette image...
How much do you pay a month, roughly, for these phones...? Should probably say US dollars... Idk, my verizon runs about $45.00 bucks a month.
canadian and american funds are pretty similar now for such a small amount.... I figure. I pay about 40.00 for mine 30.00 for my daughters and my husbands is pay as you go ... he is always out of minutes, the thing is the hidden costs the customer service the e-billing and getting charged for stuff you never ordered, or them not completing a request like removing the "free voicemail" that will suddenly become not free after the trail period ... then having to call like 2-3 times to make sure its actually been removed... Also, with all the fido phones we have we should have the opportunity to bundle them. There is no incentive for having more than one plan or phone from that shit company. Plus the customer service centre is in Quebec so they hate all of us anglophones in the west and can be pretty snotty, grrrr
i have fido too... not exactly impressed with it. stupid thing wont even let me log on to their website half the time. and the customer service people are douches
