Which do you prefer? Reading or writing?

I do not like reading, especially novels, because I tend to get angry at the book for not having the plot twists, character developments that I would have included.

However writing is becoming incresingly difficult as well. I can no longer translate myself and my experience into words, as I have started down a new road. This road eventually leads to the day when I will cease to exist as anything more than pure human emotion. :)

    I can't wait to become energy. :D

Anyways, do you like to read or write?

Music is wonderful as well, it has lots in common with writing. Both are perfect ways of expression. But music, I'd have to say, is much more powerful. When was the last time a writer had hundreds of groupies? Have you ever seen somebody get to a moving part on a book/poem and get their lighter out?

    It really depends...

Some things I like to read and write about, and other things I don't.

Mostly, I like 2 read, but when the mood strikes, I like writing stories or poetry. I started reading at 3, wrote my 1st story at 10 & poetry at 16, so it's hard 2 choose. I have ideas for stories, & guite a few written, but I can't seem 2 get anywhere w/them. Damn writers block!

I doubt I could seperate the two. I love to read poems and novels and polemic that really connects with me, that stirs emotion within me, sends a tingle down my spine and really makes me think. When I write, thats what I like to take as my influence, to spread ideas. I love both of them, reading and writing. Not too sure about the arithmatic though:p

    Totally ditto Blackie :)

I've loved stories long before I could read, and have been writing since about the age of ten. Was making up stories before that, but that was about the age I actually started writing them down, and realised they weren't bad. Thus sealing my fate.

With poetry it's a no brainer, definetly reading. I can't write anything approaching decent poetry so have cut my losses.

I like to read more, because I am creatively challenged. I really really suck at writing :p
