no reservations with anthony bourdain

this is a fairly entertaining show. some of the things he says crack me up.

i'm watching the chile episode and he's talking about a huge chilean hotdog he tried....first he describes it as "ron jeremy-esque" and later says he feels "like tera patrick, mid shift" while trying to eat it


it's a good show, imo. i'm obsessed with food, i love travel (and travel shows) and the dude is "inappropriately" funny something

 

hes an annoying prick sometimes but i do like that show. loved when he went to SA

 

yeah sometimes, but he gets on my nerves far less than a lot of other travel show hosts....especially samantha brown

 

I used to watch this show all the time back in the day, but I don't get to nowadays!

Anthony Bourdain is the man!

 

i don't have cable currently because its summer and i'm not in the dorm

when i'm in the dorm i get "free" cable, but it's very selective run by the university....i dont get the travel channel

there are lots of good things about living in the dorms, but two things suck major donkey nuts......1) the university watches internet usage and you can't use torrents or you'll lose your internet privaledges or even face more serious trouble and 2) the cable selection is really funky. more sports, news, and international channels than anything else. no travel channel, no food network, not even nick (though i have no interest in watching that anyway, but still...even basic cable usually has it, i thought)

i'm moving out of my apartment next weekend (not this coming weekend) and soon after that i'll be back in the dorm, so i'm downloading shit illegally like a motherfucker before i'm back in that media prison

 

Anthony Bourdain is awesome. I loved his Paris and Iceland episodes, especially.
