That's coz most bands of that period came after the Fab 4 :):)

Very interesting question.....they used to call dancing like that "shake" or "hippie shake"....I don't mind the way the young 'uns dance today, it's just that they think they invented dancing in the 80s or something.....dancing is as old as man himself :):cheers2::hat:

Hmm...I like the song but my first thought was "aah, another Beatle band"...I´m so sorry :D It´s not only structure of the song (it´s the period) but also same way of singing and VOICES...remind my Lennon & McCartney strongly.

Hi Nirali. Well, yes in a way, they were "just another Beatle band" as the saying goes, BUT, they took off where the Beatles left......the strictly psychedelic sounds to come AFTER the Beatles.....the Fab 4 did pave the way alright, but apart from Sgt Pepper's......, the F4 DID NOT invent psychedelic music in the strict sense of the word and that's what interests me:cheers2:

I´m not sure if we are talking about same, offset.

I realize Beatles was main music influence not only in UK and helped also spreading of psychedelic era. But what I´ve heard from Knickerbockers remind me earlier Beatles production.
And I don´t consider "Lies" song (which was release in 1966) as a psychedelic tune. Guess it´s product of mersey sound. So that´s the base of similarity.

Of course there are many other more psychier tunes than Lies, but some peeps think that the Fab 4 like, "invented" that sound...they only paved the way for it :)
