I have a friend that tells me carrot juice is better for you than carrots. Also says juiced wheatgrass is better than wheatgrass. I don't get how it might be "better" mabey its easier to digest or something, but i assumed that everything is better eating it the way it was formed. Pls let me know if you know which way is better.
cooking carrot or juicing carrot allows the body to digest the carrot effectively. eating raw carrot is hard for the body to digest , hence you don't get much from it. the cooking or juicing processes the food, we cook meat to make it easier to eat and help the body process it.
I think with carrots, you still get a fair amount of nutrients from them raw, but wheatgrass has to be juiced. Not sure why.
carrots don't have juices, true! But try dicing them into small tidbits and put them into your blender and add water, then turn the blender on, and whoala instant carrot juice!
WG is juiced because we are not ruminants and cannot digest grass. The other issue is the is a whole fruit/veg better than a juiced one. Basically, juicing allows us to have a lot of sugars, without fiber. That, to me is too much of an imbalance, but I do drink some juices nonetheless. A Vita Mix or other industrial grade blender, which simply purees the fruit/veg can override that.
