If the girl hadnt admitted to being raped, this wouldnt have been a story and no one would have said anything about a bunch of DJ interviewing a 14 year old girl on radio with her mum about her sex life.

The kind of crap happens on these tabloid radio shows all the time all around the world.

This particular radio show is the most popular in Sydney, the DJs, Kyle and Jackie O will still be there in a months time with a large audience tuning in, nothing will come of it

and just because american shows do this doesn't make it any more right. People reacting to this situation means they haven't become immune to this kind of injustice which is a good thing. If we were to pass it off as nothing we would be just as bad as the mother who outed her child.

 

I couldn't listen to it because my internet is too slow right now, but I am aware that both Kyle Sanderlands and Jackie O are quite possible the biggest wankers in the Australian media and it doesn't surprize me that they would be pretentious and moronic enough to pull a stunt like that and think it morally okay.

Well the DJ was also a host on australian idol, and has apparently just been fired from that job as well. I think he's a shit judge, he doesn't know anything about music at all, but they didn't have to fire him, this wasn't his fault, you can't anticipate something like that.
