So for the most part, generic mainstream "Indie"?

 

you should check out Ratatat if you want chill music
listen to loud pipes, swisha, and nostrand off the "classics" album

or if you're into psych. rock check out The Black Angels "passover" album

if your into hiphop/ jazz beats check out Galactic " from the corner to the block" album

 

Look out for Gorky's Zygotic Mynci albums and videos- sadly they split a couple of years ago but are worth listening. Barafundle is a superb album.
