nature is hippie nature.aw that's clever wauk if i do say myself.way to go....but i think it's true.putting others needs first knowing other's needs are your own and by helping others you are helping yourself.anyone arguing against hippie nature try it if you would like .it does work.it may not seem to at first but it does....someone wrote something about"the art of war"i wasn't teally interested in it because of the title.................but recently i found myself in a situation that seemed close to impossible to do.i came across some of the quotes from the manuscript and realized the wisdom can be helpful in many life situations.it was helpful to me.
thats a sweet pic I would like to give a cop the peace sign I almost did the orher day but wussed out
Believing in others. Believing in yourself. Believing in an open and accepting heart. Believing in the world's capacity for change and hope. Believing in the beauty of Mother Earth. Believing in unconditional love.
I know it's probably already been posted but it bears repeating. Hippy nature is knowing; All you need is Love!
'Hadn't checked this in a while, but the picture says more than words can describe, 'just made my day, thanks. You got it, believing, but hippie nature is also resisting that which you don't believe in.
Rudenoodle I have to say you have a strange sense of . . . of . . . well a strange sense of whatever it took to post a link to that picture.
Don't worry about that little shit--the main thing is are the bankers still getting their millions in bonuses.Man,get your priorities straight.
Ez commented on a picture that gave her shivers, the reasons she didn't specify but in my opinion that particular photo caused a different emotion in me. Mostly hope, when I think of shivers I get a distinctively different sense of loss or maybe creepiness, I guess it's just a case of varied terminology, but seriously when you looked at that picture didn't it make you shudder a little inside?
More anger than anything else, not at you but at the circumstances that make such a picture possible.
But the circumstances for the terrible photo could be stopped, it would take military involvement to quell the civil unrest that is crippling this societies ability to "police itself", and yes this military action would lead to death but what is the alternative? Ignore it? Let it go on for another 10 years and then use it to sell another Presidency? Sometimes you have to fight to protect others in order to truly pursue peace. Life is nothing at all if not ironic in my opinion, in case you were curious that particular photo has quite the illustrious and tragic history, it won a Pulitzer in photography and shortly after the photo was taken the 34 year old man who had taken it killed himself over feelings of guilt. Powerfully disturbing, but it begs self reflection, the possibility that one's own comfort somehow contributes to such a human condition. Questioning one's self is hippie nature.
Hippie nature is a myth. Hippies range from agressive to mellow minded people, and from peace and love drugs-using party people to straight edge. Some rather choose to be close to their own environment and their personal experiences and some have a more global sense and an urge for change. There is no typical hippie nature.
Do you really think that more men killing more men will stop men from killing men? It has never worked in the past, why do people keep thinking if we try it one more time, it'll work this time?
