Shit, I should NOT read on my computer. REAL books are better. I know this, I've always known this, it's just I got a fifth of the way through, saw how short it was and was like "shit, I could finish this tonight" (started reading two hours ago) but, fuck dizzy movie, surprisingly, captured a lot of it, but there isn't a huge volume of material to capture.
Movie is much better. Fight Club is his least good of good novels (though it's far better than his shit novels). If you want to check out more, Invisible Monsters, Survivor and Rant all quite good with great parts. Choke is pretty neat too. Do NOT read Haunted. Terrible. And Diary is total chick lit best-seller styled garbage with a Pahlahniuk twist. And yeah, I can only read comics on the computer, and rarely even bother doing that.
yes.. but.. but.. (probably not open sunday either) you could go there during the day to get books and save your eyes...
i wear glasses and get migraines no matter what i do... i don't read books online either.. would make my eyes really bad..
To read and download books on too.. well 1st I want to make sure it is hackable and hubby can download such books onto it for me, and then I want one. Hubby has found a lot of books online to read- I just cannot sit at the laptop and do so. freaking kindle thing looks cool.
Oh, I saw a commercial for that. Holy fuck is that expensive. Lame anyways. Why not just get a nice MMP that can do ebooks?
I really don't think he's good enough to be a decent screenwriter (then again, look at that crap at the box office ). However, his ideas are very cinematic in nature - almost like he's much much more of a watcher than a reader. Some of them though, really don't translate to film comfortably (chick with her jaw blown off, guy who is disgustingly sick from having an anal bead stuck up his ass, person with a hole in each cheek =P) Worst line of the book. It reeks so much of "look at me, I'm edgy!" I much prefer Jim Uhls replacement "I haven't been fucked like that since grade school.
