would taking my puppy to bed with me be bad?

also remember that a puppy grows up substantially. and when you wake a dog suddenly/accidentally/whatever sometimes they snap or get really mean instinctively, without meaning to. if you rolled over wrong you could get woken up in a nasty way, especially once the dog is older.

yes it's true that Mimi will become BIG.. she's a Labrador.. so.. haha if she's gonna sleep with me, it's now, or never!

but she is not house trained.. she pees inside still although poops outside.. so I don't know.. don't really want to pee on the carpet.. :/ But I wanna CUDDLE!!!!

Sleeping with a dog on your bed isn't bad.... but CUDDLE?? Hmmmm.... hehehe. I don't know. That might be a little weird, at least for a guy.

My dog was soooo precious when we first got him and he was SO good at sleeping with us. We'd put him between us and he'd wander down and sleep close to our legs because it was warm. And he'd always start making noise or moving around if he needed to go to the bathroom, not to mention we got him on a schedule of taking him out, so inside accidents were very few. Now he's an outside dog, so I don't think there's any way he'd sleep with us. But when he was a sleepy little puppy, he was sooo precious.

 

our dog and cat both sleep with us most nights, and our dog is ittybitty (i.e. lots of cats outweigh her), weve never had an issue with her peeing or pooping in our bedroom. other rooms, as a puppy, yeah. but a lab can get pretty big and may wan to sleep with you when fully grown too

I used to snuggle up in bed with my dog sometimes, it's fine.

But she used to always want to lick my face, which was annoying.

And then there was the farting...

 

I didn't end up taking Mimi to bed with me last night anyways, but my dad woke me up by throwing her on my bed this morning! haha it was so cute.. she chewed on all my stuffed toys and tried to eat my hair and licked my face.. I was so tired and half in a dream so all I did was protect my face from her claws and teeth.. she was so excited! Love her.
