motorcycles--- to helmet or not

to my knowledge, there is only a helmet law for those under 18 in CO

 

i got the 18 part beat .....lol

If I had not been wearing an helmet 35 years ago, I couldn't write this post, The helmet saved my life on several occasions. but everyone must be free to helmet or not, after all bike is freedom.

 

I can relate to that myself.. had the same thing happen at least once

was wearing a full coverage .. but the side of my helmet was ground away


I was younger then though

 

some people are into w/o helmet and that's fine.i guess if in doubt do what feels right.a helmet seems like it would keep the sun off your head and maybe keep you warmer in cooler weather.maybe keep brain injuries less likely although in my case who'd be able to tell the differance?i liked nicholson's helmet in easy rider.oh i got a helmet alright.

 

i'm trying to chase one down.. not having any luck

cash flow problem.. kind of rules out just buying one

not much of anything on craigslist here

might out to check the m/c shops... but the big one here... I used to work for that asshole

 

285 is a nicer drive, a lil longer but does have a few hidden short cuts. i'll be makin that drive to farmington at the end of august...again

 

I prefer the idea of no helmet.

That way I can fulfil my dreams of my brains being splattered all over the highway.
