Anyone else have control issues? I have noticed a trend in all of my negative posts, they are all posts displaying anger for not being able to control istuaitons, people, genders, ethnic groups, family members, inlaws etc.
you need to invest in a nice whip i find the easiest way to be in control is to not try to control things. if you don't plan on things going a certain way then you're never disappointed. my sister is a control freak, it only results in eating her up inside and ruining all of her relationships. nothing is as important as it seems, especially not what other people are doing! it's enough energy worrying about your actions let alone other people's actions.
It took me a while to realize how much of a control freak I was. I get a bit irritated when people don't follow my kind suggestions.
That's a very good point. Both of you. I don't know why I haven;t realized this fault earlier about myself. Moving seems to bring about self discovery for me and being a Navy wife, we move a lot. ANotehr fuckign growth opportunity lol.
I push everybody away, I'm the worst. Subjectively, it feels I can't find people with the proper balance between independencence, empathic interest and an ironic sense.
I used to have severe control freak issues. I think I woke up one day and realized that I'm never going to be able to control life... so instead of trying to make it what I think it should be, I'm just going to enjoy it. Life is fucked up, people are fucked up, things never happen the way you think they 'should' happen... but it's all apart of growing up. Just accept it all. The good, the bad, the faults, etc. It's all life. I hate to sound so gay I'm just saying
