I concur with the Clonidine. Really helps that first few days. Anyone have an idea for the burning flesh? I don't get the diareah, but i get aweful depression, rls, aches, and terrible burning flesh and hot flashes; especially the first 3 days.

Also, I haer so many people have depression and symptoms after a week. I kicked a 3 month lond 32mg snorting Diluadid chased with 45 to 60 oxycodone and 200 mg of tramadol habit a few months ago. went through a week of absolute hell; but day 6 into 7 i really had a turn around. My secret was 2 parts: i followed a percise diet of fruit, limited veggies to avoid poops, water, lean chicken, whole grain pasta, 0 sugar, lots of fresh berries and the following vitamins: B complex, Fish oil, cod liver oil, E, C , a good multi, l-tyrosine and melatonin, xanax and klonopin at pm. Second huge help was after day 4 i started to exercise. I forced myself to Run everday nomatter what. I would wake up and do some metitative streatching Yoga Chigung stuff and let me tell you; I would wake up wanting to slit my wrists, but the exercise no matter how much I DIDN'T want to do it, saved me. It was like a reset button. Lite stuff as soon as i woke, running in the afternoon. lots of hot baths.

But please, I relapsed and am tapering down a bit (no where near as much as last time and no where near as long) but im most fearing the burning flesh. Any help?

Thanks so much China. This is gonna really help. I went into a detox after surgeory last year when I was on 72 mgs to 100mgs of dilaudid and 6 lortab 10 aday but I dont want to be on suboxone and the pain was still bad so they switched me to 100mg of morphine 2xday and the lortab. I just stopped the morphine that got down to 60mg this week because I hate being on it and the Dr. does not want to reduce it. So I took 15 lortab 10 everyday and now want to just stop that. Thank God I have hated being on it so the physical withdrawal is bad but not the psychological. I am a recovering cocaine addict and have been clean for 3 yrs and am done with all drugs I hope!! This will help so much and probably if I told my Dr.I was stopping he could help but I just want off this stuff. Thanks :)so much and God Bless

if you can get clonidine it helps greatly too. it is a high blood pressure medicine. they use it during opiate withdrawals tho in hospitals and rehabs. it is a α2-adrenergic receptor agonist. so it kinda calms your nerves. look it up before you use it. Valerian root helps as well. trazadone and melatonin for sleep. lots of food and water. no caffeine. lots of weed. Benzos work well too if you havent already developed a tolerance along with your opiate addiction. if you already have a tolerance you will have to take way too many benzos. multi-vitamins. kaopectate works really well for diahrea and cramps, and for me, stops the butterflies in my stomach. but immodium does work to stop WD symptoms. it is very handy. i have heard it prolongs WDs tho. or rather you WD off the immodium after you kick the dope. anyways thats my 2 cents.

Yeah, really, thanks a lot. I go through this with Vicoden withdrawal about every 3 months when I overdo it with my meds or my refill comes in late. I had no idea that Imodium could help with this, but I will definitely try it. My main issues are with insomnia and a complete lack of energy or desire to do anything other than lay in bed. And of course the diarrhea and the symptoms of restless legs syndrome throughout my body. The next time it happens I will definitely use this method. :)

In my desperate search for pills that can help me stay off opiate addiction, I’ve discovered withdrawal aid. It’s natural and you won’t find any chemical ingredients here. It is filled with good amino acids, herbs, vitamins and minerals that practically clean your body of toxins and make all your organs function as they should. You can check out more here http://withdrawalaid.com/natural-remedy-for-opiate-withdrawal because I don’t remember all of its exact benefits. I only know the one I was most interested by: it helped with my withdrawal and now I can have a normal life. It is such an extraordinary thing to live a normal life!
