what do you wish you were good at?

 

i wish i was good at piano cuz then i could skip all my keyboard classes in college. i play trumpet and im going to college for it.

are u friendly with ur neighbors?

 

on the surface, yes, but they all gossip like mad about me. I'm the local weirdo.

how is your relationship with your mother?

 

ehh... its ok i guess. idk. we dont really talk. she just yells and i tell her to be quiet. i do stuff for her and im a pretty good kid so i dont really know why she yells. those tables i made that i posted about in one of these game threads im making for her. i cant be too bad a kid if im doing something like that for my mother am i? in all honesty i think she yells at me because im the youngest of 3 and im finally going to college this year. i think shes afraid shes going to lose her kids by having us grow up.

do u think i might be right about why my mom is yelling at me a lot lately?

 

I imagine you probably are. letting go doesn't seem to be an easy thing for mothers in general.

what is your best quality?

 

my best quality is probably... idk i think im a pretty loyal person to my friends and girlfriend.

I can be very arrogant.

what is an experience that changed you permanently?

 

when i was in 5th grade i was chosen to perform taps infront of a 500 person audience on memorial day. i think this had a big impact on my wanting to play the trumpet and eventually leading to me chosing music as a career.

do u want to play the french horn for a career or is it just something u like to do?

 

I'd love to play professionally. I'm majoring in performance and education, so we'll see where it goes :]

what is your favorite classical piece you've ever performed?

 

hmm my favorite concerto is Haydn's trumpet concerto. my wind ensemble piece would probably be Gustav Holst's 2nd suite. its not very hard but its just a good suite. my favorite movement is the 3rd. its very beautiful.

are u primarily a jazz or classical musician?

 

definitely classical. I taught myself trumpet in 8th grade so I could play jazz in high school. but classical music and the french horn .. definitely my true loves.

do you like Mahler?

 

ive played a couple of his pieces. what ive played i like but i dont know him that well.
im definately a classical player as well.

where are u going to college?

 

Adams State, in Alamosa CO. after this semester or year, if I do well, I'll likely transfer elsewhere. probably DU or UCD. I love Denver.

actually,i do not enjoy playing the french horn and the only way i could make a carreer with it would be to hit people over the head with it and rob them

i used to enjoy Hayden little known banjo concerto but i have recently rewritten Gustav olst's 2nd suite to be performed with only my armpit and a kazoo...unlike the wind version mine is freakin nearly impossible to play and really is not beautiful at all

to answer luna's question. i would probably give it to someone. i might keep enough so i can get drunk as hell so that way i dont know when i die. i would give it away because there is no way i can spend 100000 in one day on anything that would really be worth it.
