Ok so i'm about to have some acid. I've never done it before, and i'm a bit scared to try it. Here's the story. Acid has always been very elusive to me. I've never been able to find it, or if i had a connection and went to go get it the connection fell through, etc. I have always been inherently attracted to acid and valued it very highly. Essentially since i started all my drug use i've always held acid as being the end-all-be-all drug. Another source of my fear is my bad experience with ecstasy. From my bad experience with ecstasy i have the fear of being in over my head and of losing control physically and mentally. So as for my upcoming first experience with acid i was thinking about just tip toeing in to get a feel for it. maybe 1/4 of a dose or something, and stepping it up. i just feel the need to get a little bit acquainted with it before i really step up the intensity. i don't THINK this is such a bad idea because i don't really want to be blown away or have some great revelation, i just want to experience it.
My friend I don't want to scare you but if you have these thoughts before doing acid YOU WILL HAVE A BAD TRIP. Either clear your mind, hope for the best, and remove all negative thoughts or save the acid for when you are more ready. If you do start having those thoughts when you start to trip, just let go...... Let go of everything, give yourself to the trip. Understand that any negative effects (there won't be any) are just an illusion. You must be prepared to die and be ok with this, the harder you try to resist lucy from changing your mind, the more painful it will be when your ego falls apart. Btw I have found that low doses of LSD to be much more ridden with anxiety than higher doses. Take a fairly large first time dose, and these types of things won't even matter.
I had a really intense experience my first time w/ a hint of hppd after. This was off of 4 "double dipped hits." The only time I fried harder was when I did 20 hits of 150 ug at once. You need to accept that the the emotional response to your trip will not be 100% predictable. That is the nature of hallucinogens. Accepting a potential strong response will help calm your nerves. The same is true with other nerve racking experiences such as auditions or job interviews. The worst thing you can do to calm your nerves is define what you can or can't feel. Feelings are relative. Don't worry about it so much and if you decide to drop be in a safe place where you have little or no responsibility.
my opinion is you'll regret all the fractional doses after it's over. You'll realized you could have done more and enjoy it and unless you have more you'll be doubly bummed.
