Most teams are standing by their man Including the broncos Any slow starter is in danger of losing their seat to that man if you ask me I am glad to see Favre retire only because I did not want to see his iron man streak spoiled That will be his ultimate legacy
He's always been the QB for as long as I remember. Damn I just looked it up, he's was the QB since the year I was born. Damn, it always makes me sad when a famous sports star retires.
very true. I never saw a QB take the hits that guy did and hop right up and go get in the face of a defensive end and yell into his face mask " you cant hurt me... you CANT hurt me". Thanks for the memories Brett!!!
they can have him.not only do they love troubled half talented players but they play indoors. oh it's too cold outside in minnesota in the fall.that's some pretty tough vikings there.the purple people eaters coached by bud grant was a differant story though.favre would have been out of his element i think.edit i mean the vikes can have vick.
That's good news, as we all know Farve is getting old he probably would have done better retiring a few years ago. Either way best of luck to him and his family, he is and will always be one of my favorite players.
I'm glad that he decided to hang it up while he was still good. I think it's sad and embarassing when legendary players hang on until they suck. Go out with some style and dignity, with your head held high. Leave the fans wanting a little more. Let the fans' last memories of you be good. That's the way for a real pro to make an exit. :cheers2:
