I've been to a lot of concerts, but some of the sweetest music I've ever heard in my life I've heard at the handful of gatherings I've ever made it to. The sound quality is impressive. I took a piece of junk recorder to Pennsylvania '99 but the sound came out awful. I still listen occasionally just for memory's sake (it really brings back memories!), but it's otherwise unlistenable. I wish I had something worth contributing, though!

Tenali, Thank you for all you do. I was looking at 2001,did you meet a young man, doing blues like he was channeling the old blues guys.Before he would play a song he would tell you who wrote it,and this lil brother, small lil fella would nail it. He is from Oklahoma,his younger blood brother told me he had been offered contracts (I'm from Austin Tx. & couldnt beleave he wasnt sighned somewhere) ,but will only play for the people.I have never run into him since, but this kid was amazeing! His email addi at the time was strange, johnnykillseverything@? If ya caught him I'd love to hear it. I didnt see any reference to him on your music site. And again,, thank you for what you do!
I think you might be referring to Johhny who is featured on the 2001 Idaho compilation playing with a band call Assholier than thou and later(and maybe still) with a band called Podank(featured on 2003 Utah & 2000-08 leftovers). t
