Well I’ve read through the tread again and again I’m struck by how little counter argument has been presented, nothing of substance since DroneLore really (have you finished the article yet DL?)

Can I have something to work with, because this doesn’t seem to be going anywhere and will be closed.

 

Screw you Balbus. These threads are not here for the sole purpose of arguing for your entertainment. Everyone posting has something to say, the conversation is moving more slowly than it was but has not stopped. What reason is that for closing a thread? Just because it does not have enough ARGUMENT??? Why not just let it go down the list like all the rest? Then if someone new comes along and wants to discuss this, they CAN. And the thread will have more posts. That is how a forum works.

well, at risk of banning, I have to say that when BALBUS goes away, it DOES seem to take a bit of time for people to start actually DISCUSSING the subject again. It's because he DOMINATES everything when he is here, people get tired of his ranting and they go away. Eventually, when it looks like he's gonna be gone for a few days, people start talking again. But if we AGREE too much, he jumps in and tries to stir up a hornets nest again. That is actually a SICKNESS of some kind. I know the type. Drama Queens.
Craves notoriety and power, even if it means pissing off the whole rest of the planet. He would make a SCREAMINGLY wonderful politician.

On several occasions you have asked for threads to be closed because they were going off topic.

But anyway all you had to say was ‘please could you keep this thread open’ it’s no skin off my nose to keep it open. So why do you scream ‘screw you’ and demand it be left open like some petulant teenager?

No Balbus, you REALLY don't get it. People do not mind debating at all. They just don't like your holier than thou-I am the authority and everyone else is stupid attitude... YOU seem to be the ONLY person here who is totally clueless to the fact that you RUB EVERYONE THE WRONG WAY, clutter up posts with pages of B.S. bitching, come off like you think you are the center of the universe and everything has to go your way or no way... Thank GOD you don't participate in EVERY discussion. Because the ones you do go so far off track that it just gets to be too much trouble to respond. Do you remember that I PMed you asking you SPECIFICALLY to STOP placing insulting labels on me, to which you responded by continuing to insult me in the same manner. Now, you can say I "went off topic". However, THIS (Balbus) seems to be the ONLY topic you really WANT to discuss, as you keep forcing the conversation to go back to this CRAP.
