Yeah, same here. After i wash my dreadies they get nice and knotty through the night.. I think washing every 3-4 days is okay. A week, i personally could not do it.

I'd say wash it when you feel like you need to, the difference between 2,4,6 or 10 days won't matter. It is all about the transition...your scalp getting used to not washing ever other day, or several times a week. Over time, you won't need to wash it at all. Your scalp adjusts properly. But for now, it if feels like it needs to be washed..wash it, may it be two days or two weeks.

In my experience, at first, I washed my hair probably three times a week the first week, then the second was twice, and down until it is once a week or once every two weeks.

They are.. but not as good. I prefer little debbie to tastycake brand... - most tastykake stuff is made with lard anyway

    totally different lol ;)

nah, technically a ho ho is a type of swiss roll... a ho ho being specifically chocolate cake with cream, while a swiss roll can be any type of cake and any filling.. ;)

and ho ho is just a brand name for hostess. Right up there with twinkies and ding dongs (what the fuck were they thinking when they named these?)

Dude, are you the pastry police? That's hysterical!

And I was thinking the same thing, what's with the silly ass names for tasty little cakes?

To the OP- When your head itches it's time to wash :)

wash your hair if you want to wash it. They will prob fall out somewhat bad it's no big deal, dreads take a long time to form.

I made it to Day 5. I think that's when I found the forum and read that my dreadlocks wouldn't fall out if I did. They were itching like you wouldn't believe. I couldn't stop wanting to scratch at my scalp. If I were to relive that time... I'd wash when I first got itchy. :)

chemigals - I don't believe you are all that lazy. But you did make me giggle.

It was hard to break the daily habit of wanting to wash my hair at first. Now I can hardly bring myself to do it once a month. I said to myself a few days ago I am going to rinse it ever couple days. Thus far it has yet to see a drop of water. I hate washing my hair.
