Look, if your already poor with shot credit and no stable long-term income, your then forced to throw your fucking money down the tube to pay off someone else, who isnt in such a fucked up and sheity positions, rent. This then increases their credit and assets and stored up hroded up resources while further depleting your own. Every month you flush the fucking toilet on your lfie force and subscribe to the system again to be a slave and a slut and a whore of capitalism. You get older, weaker, more burnt out, but the rent requirement stays the same. You have to keep paying rent, and if you don't the fucking landlord is'nt going to give a flying shit about you. They might pretend to be your friend and confident, but they are going to make you one homeless mother fucking sad sappy sucker the day you stop paying rent 'cause you were fired or underpayed or wanted to buy an ounce of dank and some mushrooms instead. That mother fucker will find someone else to pay his mortgage and forget they ever knew you.

You, on the other hand, will still be underpaid, underemployed, burnt out, and hopeless, and still be required to pay rent again while other people are able to build assets by paying off their own personal fucking mortgages instead or better yet, having someone else pay them for them. Yea, they are going to convince you they aren't profiting off this, but that's a fucking lie. They are acruing equity they can tap into at practically any moment, Your money is becoming theirs. Your their slave. THis system is fucked up and is a burning wildfire. Its going down.

Yea. I read this great sci fi story by L Ron Hubbard where some people had been duped into thinking they had to pay for air. If they didn't work they would fall on the ground acting like they were suffocating without their ltitle air gadget. It turned out the government tyrant was just putting allergenic spores in the air that constricted their lungs when they didn't continue to do slave labor so they'd think they were dying.

Now MORTGAGE is just a stupid concept. You are being charged interest for the property you just bought. I think after you buy the property, you shouldn't have to pay for anything else because that property is officially YOURS.

 

You understand how a mortgage works right? If you dont have 100% cash up front, you borrow money, in order for it to be worthwhile, the person loaning you the money charges interest.


To the OP, its a hard system to get out of. Either buy into the system and get a house, build equity, or move to another country where living is cheaper. Either way you will still need 10-30,000 dollars start up money. Its not a big deal to make this as long as you are willing to work, and save.

 

I had an idea of how mortgages worked. I tried looking it up, and it just didnt make sense to me. I always thought loans only made things more complicated rather than having the money up front, which is easier but harder to achieve.

Same thing with credit cards. I never understood how they worked either. You're using money you dont have to buy things within a certain price range (or credit range), and then you only pay monthly charges for the card. It seems like a pretty handy concept, but you're still using money you do not have, which makes me wonder where it really goes.

The simplest concepts like buying a home or buying a car have to be way more complicated than it really should be.

Sorry, I'm kinda rambling.

Renting is good for convenience, but you're much better off buying a home than paying rent for the rest of your life.

 

Well, your just stupid to think that you can just get a job and save up money while paying rent. The economy is crumbling. Its not even plausible. The whole fucking shitstem is a joke and always has been. Its never been balanced. Its enslavement for alot of people. Freedom and priveledge for others. Something in the middle for many. But its not balanced and logical and things don't work out as they should.

Newsflash - This is how probably 85% of people save up for a DOWN PAYMENT on a home purchase.

Now...granted the market is different right now. You can't buy a house with a bank loan with only 5-10% down now days. Try 20% now, if you even get a loan.

 

But not everywhere. Some countries are doing just fine, tyvm.
