    and its only just begun...

got possession tonight of our first evar house (yay!), started taping stuff to paint tomorrow. painting sat and sun, starting to move shit in on monday. getting stuff upstairs will be interesting, its got a suuuuper skinny stairway upstairs - my bedframe may not fit which would make me sad :(

bleh, im burnt out already from packing up our old house (which isnt completed, but is like 90% done)

    whats tiring you out lately?

I love moving. We just moved. Unfortunately it wasn't voluntary, and we had nowhere to move to..

So we are chillin at mums' friends house.

If I knew you, I would totally come paint your whole house. I love it.
I just painted my Step mums office, and my mums friends whole house.

    Fun.

I love to paint and I don't use tape, all I need is an angled brush.

Cleaning kicked my ass today because BB (the dog) pissed behind an antique secretary/bookcase. I had to move that loaded to the gills piece of furniture to mop and then move it back.

i hate the act of moving. i love the couple of days of having a new place into which you just moved. i like arranging the furniture, figuring out where things go, unpacking, making a home of it.

btw, if your bed frame can't be fit up the stairs and can't be disassembled and then reassembled, you can get a queen sized air mattress, with pump, for about 50 bucks at target here. also, its not just mattress sized but has extra volume to keep you farther above the ground, more similar to a regular bed.

air mattresses aren't as good as regular beds, especially for extended use, but they certainly do the trick, they're cheap, they're comfy, and they are convenient and portable.

just something to consider for a backup.

*hug* thanks for the suggestion, but we have no targets up here in saskatchefuck

i think we can get the mattress up. i doubt we can get the box spring up. the bed frame itself can disassemble, but the long pieces could be interesting to fit up the stairs (very narrow with some twisty turning at the start, yippe). i suppose, worst case scenario, we could get someone up on the roof to shove stuff through the window for the longer, skinnier pieces

sigh, tired. painting time today, yay! but its supposed to be 32C (aka, fucking hot for someone whos a wimp with the heat like i am), bleeeeh

on the frame parts, tie a rope to it and pull it up and through the window.

we have a ladder leading to our upstairs through a smallish scuttle hole. everything gets pulled up or let down by a rope. thankfully we have a deck with sliding glass doors up there..

dunno what to tell you about the box springs lol..

theres a 3rd floor apartment across me street like that with a narrow winding stairs....I like to watch new people move in...everything has to go from the middle deck up to the third floor by rope or ladder...theres always something that falls...fridges,stoves,people....it can be fun to watch.
