depends on where you are I think. They can drug test anytime here- most here won't without a reason here because it costs them. I have never been fired either.I am too much of a quitter Sorry EA(hug).
Dammit, I told you it was important to blow the boss on the first day, but nooooo, you insisted that puking rainbows would be good enough to impress everybody. Now whatcha got to say? :toetap05:
ive never been fired...yet. that really does suck though. i couldnt imagine having kids and a family to take care without having a steady, reliable job
That is a really tough job, I think one of the toughest. The fact that you survived it (they fired you, you didn't quit) says a lot of good things about you. Forget it and move on to something better.
I've never been fired, and I'd probably get really really pissed if Dairy Queen fired me. I've bent over backwards and took so many different kinds of abuse and haven't had a break in over a year...and before that it had been almost 2 years... So yeah, if they fired me after the bullshit I've put up with, I might have to call myself a lawyer. I have a pretty large lists of labor law violations amongst other things and you bet I'd sue the fuck out of them.
never been fired... did have a talking to at one job and decided to quit but there was a lot of shit going on the time (like, an amazingly bad bout of depression and failing classes and shit, just couldnt keep up the happyhappy pretenses at my retailwhore job) i am a little worried about being laid off at my current job due to downsizing thats going on, but on the other hand i found a sweet job im going to apply for next week so maybe it will all work out in the end
Sorry you got shit canned. I got fired once, for getting someone baked at work... But, I was an emancipated teen back then. I've also seen getting fired coming and quit to head them off at the pass...(shitty min wage jobs) The other day everyone at work's schedule was changed to be working only the amount of hours you were originally hired for. No more overtime. I'm considered full time at 32 hours, but they had been scheduling me 5-6 days a week. Then yesterday, my nurse manager tells me she's 95% sure I got bumped up to 40 hours... But, she couldn't say for sure. My vacation starts on Monday... Meaning it was too much trouble for them to let me know if I would be given enough hours to support myself before the week I'm supposed to relax. Fuck them, I'm looking for something else. Grrrrrrrrr! :cuss:
