It never hurts to be careful in this crazy world we live in. 1. Tip from Tae Kwon Do : The elbow is the strongest point on your body. If you are close enough to use it, do! 2.. Learned this from a tourist guide. If a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM. Toss it away from you.... Chances are that he is more interested in your wallet and/or purse than you, and he will go for the wallet/purse. RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION! 3. If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car, kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy.. The driver won't see you, but everybody else will. This has saved lives. 4. Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping, eating, working, etc., and just sit (doing their chequebook, or making a list, etc. DON'T DO THIS!) The predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get in on the passenger side, put a gun to your head, and tell you where to go. AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO YOUR CAR , LOCK THE DOORS AND LEAVE.. If someone is in the car with a gun to your head DO NOT DRIVE OFF, Repeat: DO NOT DRIVE OFF! Instead gun the engine and speed into anything, wrecking the car. Your Air Bag will save you. If the person is in the back seat they will get the worst of it . As soon as the car crashes bail out and run. It is better than having them find your body in a remote location.
If I had to choose between going to Texas or Iran ... I would choose Iran; even if apparently Texans speak English ... I reckon my chances of survival are better in Iran
Considering the Crime Rates in texas compared to the place where I live ... I think this advice is suited to a place where crimes happens quite alot ... this information is kind of useless for someone who lives in a place where there is little crimes(especially a place with no guns) .... the information is also useful for people who live in a world where fear is a major factor to their survival ... the advice given above included violent responses to events which are yet to take place ... The information has alot to do with Texas and Iran as they are rather dangerous places to live; I was suggesting that Texas was more dangerous than Iran .... the information above is also quite stupid ... "f someone is in the car with a gun to your head DO NOT DRIVE OFF, Repeat: DO NOT DRIVE OFF! Instead gun the engine and speed into anything, wrecking the car. Your Air Bag will save you. If the person is in the back seat they will get the worst of it . As soon as the car crashes bail out and run. It is better than having them find your body in a remote location." yep ... wasn't this a episode of CSI? because im sure if someone has a gun to your head .. when you start to go crazy and unpredictable .. .they wont shoot you right? the original poster has this whole thing figured all out I can see ... and so do you when you say "its all true"
also .. what I find is that people who think this information is useful .. are the people who get into those situations ... take someone I know who believes in violence for self-defence(some karate style) .. somehow he gets himself into violent situations where either himself or the other party gets hurt ... and he wonders to himself "how do i get myself in these situations?" ... he gets into one of these situations once every six months ... maybe its because he reads crazy shit like this and thinks everyone is out to get him .. so he takes "self-defence" classes ... ahem "violence classes" to somehow to prepare him for that "big day" ive noticed there is a link between people who take self-defence classes and the amount of times they need to use that technique ... for example someone like me who hasn't been to a self-defence class since i was a child or regulary seeks out information on how to 'defend' myself from threats ... has been in ... hmmmm 0 violent situations for over 8/9 years .... even when a drunk man pulled a knife out on me ... I talked him out of it ... I would suggest everyone try a civil way of action first before listening to some advice that some guy seen in a action movie.
'It's all valid' may have been a better way to phrase it. Part 2 was fucking retarded though, so maybe I've just lost patience with it.
