Good morning, beautiful people

So, I actually signed up last week and just noticed that this part of the forum existed. Whoops.

My name is Rob, a theatre student. 22 years of age, born and raised in CT.

I'm not sure what personals you guys will find interesting, so I'll briefly talk about what keeps me happy and motivated every day. I believe in love, and its everlasting power to heal, enlighten, and inspire. I sometimes wonder if we, in a world polluted with hate, ignorance, and bigotry, will ever find the strength and confidence in ourselves to fully appreciate and learn from diversity.

But in the meantime, I will continue to do my part, fighting the good fight, and spreading peace and happiness wherever I can. For several years, my focus has been on becoming a stronger artist, improving my craft, and evolving into the most well-rounded individual I can be.

I guess you could say that theatre and film are my career aspirations, but music is what defines me. For me to sing, or jam with friends until the early morning, or listen to an old record is to manifest my energy, my soul. I don't know who I would be without it. Aside from the beautiful friends and family I have been blessed to walk this earth with, music is my trip.

Other things that make me happy (get ready for this): directing, smokin up, laughing, meditating on a grassy field, flopping by a lake, playing with dogs, observing cats, dipping my fingers into the sand (you know you love it), sitting on my porch during a blizzard, coming face-to-trunk with enormous old trees (I'm looking at you, Hampshire College), smelling carnations, and intense Crazy Eights tournaments. Also, I've got a very pronounced sweet tooth.

To paraphrase The Guess Who, shake hands and share the land. Keep the love alive.
