Does anyone else feel like they are slowly becoming a vampire?
I think sitting in front of this bright computer screen isn't helping.

I have been a vampire for about five years now. I have really bad insomnia. I am lucky to get three hours of sleep a night/day. :(
But I'm used to it at this point. A lot of times, I don't even bother to try to sleep. I think it's contagious, too. :D

    Awww. :(

    Have you tried sleeping pills?

I got an iron supplement and that's helping my energy during the day so I am tired enough to sleep now. :D

I promised myself bed before midnight so I'm going now. :)

    (Try do that :p)

I have tried everything you could possibly imagine except for insane sleeping pills. I have tried Trazodone and anti-anxiety meds though.
Even xanax and clonopin don't really help me. I try to tell myself I'm going to bed at a certain time, but then I end up just lying in bed staring at the ceiling for hours and hours.

Do you smoke pot? I have pretty bad insomnia, but weed really really really helps. It's pretty much one of the only reasons I smoke these days, just because I am a terrible insomniac. Or I'll do that really annoying sleep really well for 3 hours and then be exhausted but wide the fuck awake. So I just pull out my pipe, take a hit or two, and hit the pillow again. I've had sleep issues on and off since I was 10. I was addicted to sleeping pills then. I'm not saying I'm not still...because obviously, I have to have some substance to sleep most nights, but I can take a sleeping pill one night to make sure I sleep like a coma patient, but I don't have to take them every day to fall asleep. I just have extreme anxiety and I worry about everything and my mind races a hundred miles a second when I'm not high.

I'm in a sad state of affairs, because pot actually doesn't help me sleep anymore, unless I smoke like four blunts in a row. Even then, it's a toss-up to see if it'll actually help me sleep. It used to, really well actually. Weed used to give me gorgeous sleep. But now, not so much. Wish I knew why. Maybe I just have to smoke more. :D
