Here is something that totally pisses me off. After watching a movie for 2 hours or more, I like to see the end credits, but nowadays, stations minimize the screen so you cant read any of the credits while they advertise something else. This really pisses me off. And what pisses me off even more is when you watch something like the X Files on Sci-Fi channel, at the beginning when the show first starts, and the credits for who are guest starring in the show come on, Sci Fi will show adverts at the bottom of the screen for upcoming shows, and they block out the credits for the current show you are watching. This happens often on many networks. Why cant these idiots, if they absolutely need to air these adverts for upcoming shows, do it at the top of the screen, so that it doesnt block what is supposed to be originally shown at the bottom of the screen? Doesnt take a fuckin genius to figure that one out, does it?

it is done on the radio also.the dj starts blabbing before the song is done.to me it appears the television and radio stations don't really care about the art they are presenting.

I find it annoying too, especially if there's a cool theme song being played over the credits.

I like to read the names in the credits to see if there's anyone I've ever known who's listed. But there never is ... :(

Because these tv stations do not care at all about the viewers anymore.Or let me rephrase that, the viewers they still have which is at an all time low in numbers. American mainstream tv has changed from an excellent form of entertainment to what it is now, pure unadulterated rubbish in every way.

    They do that here too.
Their argument is that they are attempting to retain viewers.
Due to less and less station loyalty and more and more choice, people just view what they want to see on their EPG...they no longer care what station anything is on.
So, they have to hook people into the next programme before the urge to switch over kicks in.

It did bother me till I realised I can find out anything I like on the Internet.

they own the program and they do this because they can do this

this is how the system works and you will be a fuller man if you recognise this fact and try to sieze power for yourself

also i am not judging but i do not respect people who watch the scifi channel. they seem to me to be farfalla. they should try to do some living.
