ok so winter is here, but why should that stop our fun???????? recently there was a small gathering in sussex, for a few fireworks and a bonfire, it was very chilled, comfortable fun. these should occur (big or small) throughout winter, regardless of the weather they are still enjoyable. for winter arrangements i understand we must appease the masses as some of us cannot drive, and sometimes public transport just isnt up to scratch, so please post a preferable meet up location/area and by group dicision we can arrange something love peace and much smiles and fun jcx
I couldn't agree to that more! I'd absolutely Love to go to any gatherings arranged. Areas easiest for me are: Hampshire/Winchester area London Devon/Cornwall But i'm not really fussed, if it's a weekend i can cancel work and attempt to travel anywhere to see you lot, other side of the world or not
jaycee - have you got a van yet? with the cold days drawing in i think vans rather than tents are the way to go. i know camping's fun but,for me, being cold isn't. so heres my suggestion...... we get together as many vans as we can beg/borrow/scrounge and head off into the sunset in them. i have my caravan now, and its being towed by the transit which sleeps three, and the caravan sleeps three. if jaycee has a van aswell we should have enough sleeping places for a largish gathering and no-one needs to get too cold. i was having a discussion with the lovely miss sunny on msn and we talked about how much fun it might be to have a road trip of some description. we also thought it would be quite cool to go back to avebury, though naked dancing is optional at this time of year!! i would be willing to have a go at organising things, but as i only have irregular and limited net access now it might make things a little harder. will definately give it a try if you want though. peace and love stardust xxx
We should get together and party like its 1999! And get naked and roll in the cow manure on the farm. That would be my awesome dream come true.
I need to know nearer the time so I can sort my shifts out....If you are going to Avebury I only live about 10 mins away so would definatly be up for that one....Is about time I made a road trip...
I am free the second and third weekend in December. I can't really bare having to travel all the way down South though. It costs too much and takes too long just for one night as I work Monday to Friday. I think it would be fairer for eveyone if we made it somewhere in the middle? What do you think? Love Clairexxx
middle sounds good. i am free any weekend in december. maybe the lake districts could be an option? beautiful countryside and fairly central as far as i know, (its not an area i know that well) maybe if we decide a date and a rough location then we can go from there. peace and love stardust xxx
Yeah I'm interested but it's pretty tricky getting time off work untill christmas...but I may manage too. If it's in the north or central there is more chance as well.
Heya all Unfortunatly im too buisy this time of year with uni and work and such... ill give it a go coming along but chanes are i will have to work if itsa weekend of have to be at uni on a weekday. However i will send Jaycee up with an extra smile from me
course the monkey can have a space in the caravan!! i'm hoping to have a woodburner in by then so it will be lovely and toasty!!
i dont know where the derbyshire dales are (i'm guessing they might be in derbyshire!) but does that idea appeal to most of you? peace and love stardust xxx
so somewhere slightly lower then? how about......everyone who's interested tell me where they're from and i'll get a map and pinpoint all the areas then pick the point thats dead in the middle! peace and love stardust xxx
It's all about Cambridge, centre of the universe dontcha know. If not, I can get pretty much anywhere given time and money....
tee hee sal iknow what you mean, there is some wonderful countryside around cambridge area......lets see what the masses decide though
I'm still wrestling with a lot of stuff to do with the machine at the moment. Once I'm up and running again I would love to host a gathering up in Scotland. I'm going to be doing something for Samhain thats for sure. Unfortunately the Edinburgh fest at Carlton hill was banned recently. I'll find something. Anway, next year. The highlands beckon.... ~
How about the southern end of the peak district? I did know a place not far from Derby but I'll have too look it up
