They were real good in Denver, it was my first time seeing them, but I got to talk to allot of old schoolers and it was well worth the cost of the ticket. Had allot of cute girls ask me for Molly, I must have looked like a dealer I don't know lol.
I went to the both Shoreline shows and the Gorge. The first Shoreline show was by far my favorite show. I had an extra ticket to that show, because my friend who was also my ride bailed on me. So I went over to the park and traded this older guy a ticket to the show for the ride there. He picked up two of his friends and it was a great time! Beautiful weather at Shoreline too, a bit windy but real nice! As far as the crowd goes, everyone I saw was dancing to the music, smoking, and doing their thing. Lots of acid and mushrooms going around, and I didn't hear from anyone that they got fake acid. I took some acid before the first Shoreline show and it was great!
so everyone liked warren with them? i couldnt make it to any of the shows. i was thinkin it wouldnt sound to good with him....i guess i was wrong lol tell me how warren did!!!
i thought warren did an awesome job, but i might be a bit biased cause i already thought warren was an incredible guitarist. he did do a very good job from what i heard though and it seemed like he added a nice touch of blues to the songs which i liked a lot
i was at the msg show on 4/25 and it was dope, warren sounded good, deff added a much more bluesy sound to the band but i have no complaints
I agree....kill the cell phones phones and other nonsense during the concert. Anyway, as far as The Dead 2009 tour went for me... I seen two shows, and it was ok... I thought they sounded better in 2004, when they had two lead guitarists - Warren Haynes and Jimmy Herring. These shows were nothing like the old Grateful Dead shows, but they're better then no shows at all... So, I say LONG LIVE THE DEAD! :cheers2: I hope they tour again next spring or summer... A summer tour would be nice.
