I occasionally see fly traps at the 99cent store, think I also saw some at Petco. I haven't seen much like that at regular nurseries, maybe check your phone book for specialty nurseries in your area. Another good place would probably be specialty/exotic/carnivorous plant shows (which they usually also sell plants). The International Carnivorous Plant Society has a seed bank, but you need to be member to have access, maybe also check if they have a chapter near you.

There was a carnivorous plant show and sale in the SF Bay area, just a couple days ago.

you would think living in a state where they are a native species, it would be easy to find em. i'll just have to keep my eye out. thanks for the responses so far!

If your looking for native plants to your area, there might be a native plant society or even some local conservation groups that could have some or be able to tell you where you can get them. You could also collect plants or seeds in the wild, if you can find an area where its legal to do so.

The only thing i can add is to refer you to Daves Garden dot com.

They list sellers, whom you can contact,

as well as ALL the low-down on growing, breeding, etc.

    Hope this helps!

I edited out the link. Sorry, can't have links in posts.

    Peace,
