how long are you staying... bring canned food make a fire ... go somewhere they sell water...? or just live with the warmness... can't be that bad...
help? uh just bring a cooler with your favorite beverages and add water every day, most fests have ice trucks and stuff. as for food, bring whatever you want..
trail mix, oranges, apples, a gallon jug of water to refill at a faucet, and some other miscellaneous high protein foods for sustained energy... all washed down with much cold beer...
:cheers2: Beer is good but it can dehydrate you more than you realize. A kidney is a terrible thing to waste. And who knows what kind of water comes from the spicket. I only drink reverse osmosis water. 'Course I'm 48 and have to watch my health...
For most of us, whats the worst that could happen? festival water is usually tested several times a day, at least at big commercial festivals.
bring about twice as much water as you think you'll need. and a mini stove is awesome. especially with spaggheti-os. just make sure to force yourself to eat, sleep, and drink enough and you should be fine. as for the ice, you usually can buy it there.
Tested as in people drinking it and other waiting to see if they puke or get the shits? hell, I don't know...for all I know it's irrigation water But hey..that's me. I see all kindsa microbes in it and shit with my 3rd eye.
flashlight, several gallons of water, over estimate how much you think you might need. i like the jugs where you can like lift the tab and water comes out like a faucet. bring water bottles as well. i love gatorade at festies on ocasion cuz in the heat it can taste better and you keep yourself hydrated. fruit! snack bars, gummies. rain gear, ponchos what not. shade for yoru camp ground. hand sanitizer. MUSIC for when you are chillin at the site (not necessary but makes things fun). if its gonna be hot, some sort of thin cloth, scarf or something you can get soaked and put on your head about water at festivals, so far i've been most impressed with bonnaroo's supply..and the quantity of sinks everywhere. FESTIVALS :sifone:
yea bring some TP. i'd say you should bring a canopy or something along with your tent so you can have a nice open place to chill in the shade. your tent will just be too hot. also you should keep your coolers in this area so they stay in the shade. the ice will not melt as fast if they are in the shade. bring plenty of water. although really i doubt that you can bring enough to last you the whole time. as long as you bring a few dozen waters and keep the bottles to refill you should be fine. you'll need to buy ice there though every so often. but if you keep your cooler in the shade you can keep that to a minimum. also bring a few cases of beer. when you are tripping too hard it is nice to sit down and relax at your campsite over a nice cold one. that and after the first day or two people will trade you stuff for beer. once everyone gets used to the insane prices at the concert grounds people will be more than happy to pay out the ass, or trade you drugs. the same goes for ciggarettes. if you smoke at all, bring atleast a carton. if not you can always sell your packs. also bring plenty of food. just about the same amount you would eat at home. we brought a charcoal grill as well as a gas grill. also sun lotion, and a first aid kit are a good idea. bandages can come in handy. having a little box or allocated place to store all your drugs is also a good idea. im horrible at keeping track with my shit. a little carpet or flooring to lay down under your canopy is also nice. bring chairs! everyone should have their own foldout chair. hand sanitiser, wet wipes... you should also really plan out what drugs you want to buy and how much they are all going to cost if you are on a budget at all. that way you can get a good idea of how much money you are going to spend. you'll also want to buy food and drinks from the festival as some point. so plan on that too. concert prices suck. you should also really bring some weed and a bowl or something from home. just make sure you hide it really well. if you get pulled over and searched, it shouldn't matter. but that's more of a personal decision. they will probably be selling bowls there. really its best to bring anything you plan on taking from home. but it comes along with risk, and stress. if your safe you ought to be fine. but otherwise you can get anything you want once you get there. and make sure you get there early! the closer your campsite is to the concert grounds, the more awsome it will be. how many people are you going with? the more people camping out with you, the more awsome your camp setup can be. haha.
oh one more thing. If you're the barefoot and fancy free type at least bring rubber slippers to brave the porta-pottie. Unless you like the squishies between the toes.
Toilet paper, Crackers, block Cheese, Pepper, Pepperoni, Frozen Water, Cold Grinders No Tomateo or condiments! , Regeno Jar Stuffed with Funky Green Herbs which are ignitable, hmmm......... I'd be set after this list.
I use a "5 day cooler". Ice lasts 2-3 days. Ice is for sale at any large festival. If it's a small fest, bring an extra cooler packed only w/ ice. Never add warm drinks to a cooler, it melts your ice. Buy the drinks the night before you leave, and chill them in a fridge. I prefer to support the vendors by purchasing my food at the fest. But if you want, bring: bread, cheese, eggs, ham, butter, & a propane grill. You can make egg & cheese, ham and cheese, & grilled cheese w/ the above ingredients.
