When drugged with prescription amphetamines and I have a project to get through, I really am a genius with my work. Obsessive and brilliant.

There are however, unpleasant side effects for me, including in my social life.

But whatever, it's going to be worth it for me very soon. I'm getting some adderal and devoting myself to two projects next year.

 

I am off of those drugs and happy about it.

Whether it's real or not (and if you study the neurology of it, ADD exists) doesn't matter really, for someone my age.

I'm concerned with whether I should have a legit way to alter my brain chemistry to be more effective towards completing my goals.

I can't concentrate on shit. Ever. Ever since I was a little kid. Everyone thought i was autistic. I didn't start retaining info until I started taking the meds.

 

A short attention spam exists, but it's not a disorder and it shouldn't be treated with speed.

I have nothing against recreational speed use... people should do whatever they want... they shouldn't give it to their kids though.

Giving your kids prescription meds is worse than force feeding him booze or cigarettes in my less than humble opinion.
