never in my lfe to i plan to do that. ive seen what it does to people. i really does tear you apart =[
I had a similar experience wanting to try opiates, here's what to expect. At first during the " honeymoon" period life is heaven, you will find you can stay awake longer, out drink, out fuck etc. anyone on earth. In a few weeks the amount required to get off will go thru the roof, count on a few hundred a day to keep going (hope you have lot's of savings put away). Oh did I forget to mention after awhile you don't get off anymore? you just NEED the dam stuff to stay alive. The only way to catch a buzz is to do a HUGE hit and hope it doesn't stop your heart (of course the only way to determine that is after it's in your vein which is too late to stop anyway). By this time you will have no job, no friends (except equally fucked up loser's) and no life (except dope) sound exciting?? If you don't end up doing time from stealing to support your habit consider yourself lucky, there's also Hep and Aids to worry about, if you suceed in quitting then there is the endless methadone bullshit, count on a couple of more years of wasted time .. is your life really so horrible that you have to put yourself through all this?? think on ... proceed at your own risk ...
Acts just as morfine you can use regulary just give a 5 day break between shots cos if you get addicted, well, thats it, get used to the deliriuns,
lol always have to laugh to myself when I see that. "you can use regulary just give a 5 day break and you won't get addicted.".........Thats right up the with "you can have unprotected sex and you won't get pregnant, just make sure he pulls out before he comes" or "you can drive safe without wearing a seatbelt, just don't crash your car".
Not everybody chooses to become a dope fiend who tries dope. I know a few people, myself included, who use every 2-3 weeks and dont have withdrawls, or any bullshit. I also know a lot more poele who are strung... you just need to make a personal choice; drugs are neutral.
ohh --brother--its soo easy to quit with a methadone detox--not maintainence-get strugng out for awhile then your done detox and your cured-------now if you want to make it your DOC--your totally fucked--i chipped for ten years no problem---i got hooked on methadone cas i liked it better than heroin----but crime goes hand in hand with an H habit--good thing i was a criminal
LMAO @ the Darwin's theory in action. Thats a good point as well. It's like Bill Hicks said, about the kid on acid that thought he could fly. If he jumps off a building bucause he thought he could fly, he's an idiot. LMAO "you dont see ducks lining up in in elevators to fly south for the winter, they take off from the ground." So he's the idiot, like Hicks said, why didnt he just take off from the ground? Dont blame it on the drug, blame the idiot. (aka dope fiend or whatever, anyone blaming drugs for ruining their lives.) But I understand how powerful addiction can be. Straight up, if you know you dont have self control than drugs arent for you then. sorry. you're ruining it for the rest of us.
ONLY when u first start H is it a choice.....but for some people even after just one time using it becomes out of their control and it is no longer a choice to use. This is a disease that takes away the ability to make that choice. That is why methadone treatment is legal for long term use and not only just a quick detox med. Some ppl can successfully detox quickly with methadone, BUT many suffer greatly with depression that never goes away due the brains inability to naturally produce "the pleasure chemicals" that it used to do naturally before the drugs took that over. It's been awhile since I read the study on this but I do believe it is a choice at FIRST...but that ability quickly goes out the window. Sorry for the long post...I feel like I am not getting these word out right to where u al will understand what I am trying to say. I am not trying to be rude or anything but I was addicted to Oxy's for a long time when I turned to methadone.
Alright. Let me play the devil's advocate, because I've never tried any opiate recreationally. I've been reading about opiates lately. Here's what I've been thinking would be alright: Sometime after I've retired, I start making tea with dried poppy heads. I should be able to make the tea with 3-5 heads per serving, five servings per week for less than $2000 per year. I expect to probably use it no more than two times per week, but I figure for budgeting purposes, I'll use a worst-case scenario. I know I'll get hooked. That's not the question. I know, too, that I won't look for any stronger way to dose. I'm not about to risk anything illegal when there's such a cheap and legal way to get it. If I decide I want off, I can use loperamide to get me through the withdrawal. If that still gives me a hard time, I can use ibogaine. It shouldn't be a problem. I'll be 50 in 14 years, and I hope to be retired and living in Thailand by then. I plan on taking the tea to get rid of aches and pains and get high. Alright, let me have it. Tell me why this is a tragically stupid idea.
Well, any time you're planning on getting addicted, that's a dangerous idea. However, it may or may not be worth the risks to get the benefits. What are the benefits? I won't know until I try it. I wouldn't do it for several years, though. I've got a drug-tested job. But thanks for responding to my thread, Salmon. I'd love to get more input on this.
I would have tried heroin by now if I had the chance, I doubt I would shoot it though. I want to see how it compares to the other opiates I use all the time.
Everything is overrated... "you'll be addicted as soon as you use" Anyone who says that or thinks that is stupid... One day i couldn't get anything and i heard there was some h around so i got ahold of someone and bought a 50 bag and i did it all in a matter of 3 hrs. It was alright, nothing special. I promised myself to never do it again, so i never did it again. Keep in mind i didnt shoot i just blew it down. You only live once, everything is worth a try.
you have to understand that heroin fits in differently to different lifestyles, and it may not be that easy for other people who just try it once.
