Ratdog is good if I want to sleep through the headlining spot of a festival... Soo uhhh yeah Phil. I agree that Phil's set at All Good last year was amazing, btw. Jackie Green rocked it, IMO.

phil most definately. ratdog has always been a stale regurgitation(spelling). phil brings good musicians with thier own interpretations. phil is definately a better experience, and the crowd and atmosphere is alot kinder. ratdogs always been a place where junkies go to die, slowly, kinda like seeing a jgb show after jerry died. no love at all really.

no doubt...the 99 shows w/ trey & kimock (esp. the one w/ page--30 minutes of screamin-ass V.L.B.) are amazing...the lineup in 02-03 was stellar. warren and herring...ratdog's great in a really crisp, tight, rehearsed way, but it just doesn't stretch the boundaries than those years of phil did...but thats the past...

saw Jackie Greene solo opening for...Ratdog in Colorado.
I was very impressed (and kicking myself for not catching his show earlier).

Anyone turning out for Further tonight?
    wishing I could be there....

I've seen a ton of good and bad shows from both lineups. I guess I'm just a Grateful Dead phan and like seeing anyone really.
