Meet Congress’ New Teeny Tiny Anti-Marijuana Caucus
July 19th, 2009 By: Allen St. Pierre, NORML Executive Director
During a time of immense cannabis law reforms and major shifts in public opinion in favor of such, emerges now a throwback to the dark ages of America’s war on some drugs from the 1980s: The Congressional Anti-Cannabis Caucus. continued...

The members of this new anti-cannabis caucus in the Congress are: Dan Burton (R-IN), Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), Darrell Issa (R-CA), Jim Jordan (R-OH), John Mica (R-FL), Aaron Schock (R-IL), Mark Souder (R-IN) and Michael Turner (R-OH).

These buck sucking cowards are not Representatives,
They're Corpresentatives. Ugly greedy and mean thieves.
Better dead than drugged psychopaths, elected lobbyists.
No remorse for the death and destruction they cause.
Slashing the Bill of Rights with special Czars bypassing America.
Selling their Ag poisons, cages and enforcement paraphernalia.
Sickening selfish racist, whiny punks in suits.
Foolish clown cops saving the kids with zip ties.
NO ConPromise. We don't need their stinking interference.
Shew, scat! All these old shrieking Ganja gossip mongers,
should just fade away into the darkness of their souls. DdC

I really beleive, those of us who think marijuana should be legal, have to let those with the power to do it, aware of just how many of us favor this. We can sit on our hands and figure someone else can do it,or we can choose to let our elected officials know how out of date prohibition is. I myself have written the president, both my senators, my representative and the governor. The money that could be saved is in the billions. We need to overwhelm them with the realization of just how many of us are out there.:sifone:
